Comments about this video:
look how the girl keeps moving her head toward the lady but then she still got a other lady on the other side of her pulling her hair.Look at her facial expressions throughout the video. The price is likely due to the time saved. Two people cuts down your sitting time usually 10 -12 hours, and for a woman with a busy schedule, its worth it to get out of there. Edges break because they are stressed more frequently, or when you fail to get the edges rebraided. These look neat. Not extremely tight, and as she oils her scalp it will loosen in a few days. Lack of knowledge is what kills our beautiful hair. We spend more time and money on illusions than what's really REAL.For all the ppl saying they braid tight. I was born to wear braids I had braids all my life. And had all types of styles with them but everytime I got to a African braiding shop they do not braid my hair tight serious!! It may look tight but maybe its not. Singles really don't hurt cornrows do and when I had cornrows they had a special grip and it still didn't hurt. But when I go to normal people houses them be the ones braiding tight.I think They doing good job, painful or tight it depent on you, u just had to tell them you don't want your hair be tight,so They will not do it, you know what people stop say the bad thinks on them, because some people want they hair be tight, all people is not same, every one had a different choose so that's my think. I think this is great...if anybody is interested in learning how to micro braid you can also check out ttwells video..she does an amazing job 2. i got my hair braided at the africans yesterday it didnt hurtt that much it will just a litlle pinch but you have to tell them people that u dont want them to tight or small... when ever i get my hair braided it hurts but when you go get it done it the salon people say its very painful and i believe it to. I agree with most comments... these braiders are braiding TOO TIGHT. Not all braiders braid tight. I have gotten micros off/on for 10 yrs and other than the very first time when I didn't know better, I always tell the braiders VERY ADAMANTLY that I am tender headed and DO NOT BRAID TIGHT and don't hesitate to remind them as they are braiding. Another tip is to make sure they don't braid every single strand of hair - I gel down baby hair along hairline for them NOT to touch.I dnt want anyone giving bad info...I was scrolling down the comments and saw nthn but negative experiences w/micros...not saying everyone doesn't have their own experience but for ME PERSONALLY...micros never hurt or are too tight...only problem I ever run into is my butt falling asleep lol...I juz dnt want ppl interested in micros getting scared off by everyone's experience =). I totally agree with you..I had my first set of micros and I loved them I couldn't listen to those that kept telling me micros will break your hair and you WILL lose your edges blah blah blah..I had to find out for myself and I actually got hair growth from the micros and will be installing another set later this month!! wow the braids look really nice i just got mine done yesterday at a african braiding salon i had two people on my head at once :3 but it turned out nice so im happy with it ^^.
It look like they are doing a great job this is worth 250 to 300 I have have seen some that paid 250 n look a hot mess n did not braid it to the ends they are doing a great job.
I could not take 2 ppl in my head at the same time. what if yall dont braid alike? what if the 'parts/sections' are off? These are cut!!!!
She looks like she is in pain...that's way to tight... to much tension on the hair will damage the hair...
I just Got Kinki Braids Yesturday From Lls African Braiding In Chicago IL it turned out very good and I got a bunch of compliments from it. But It hurted so bad, tight braiding it was worth $180. Yes that style is worth every bit of $300. Its in a salon, these ladies have reputation and experience, and their sections are ALL small. None of this large 3/4 of the head and small in the front stuff. Its a braiding shop in cleveland oh i go to and they charge 180 for this same size and jus as better!Tight but beautiful I usually carry my Asprin with me when i go to get my hair braid cause i like it a little tight but what kind of hair are you using. these braids are beautiful i am so inspired this is what i want to do after im done with school im 18 i do hair now and it soo funn for me and when i first started i wactched so many of these videos now im just as good as them ; ). its cute but way too tight...looks like her hair is gettin ripped outta her skull though. good thing i kno how to do my own now...300 is definitely a outrageous amount. Wow that's looks like her hair it too tight. She will have some hair loss. It looks good but definitely not suppose to be so tight u can't lay down. That's ridiculous. That's y I braid my own and keep folks out my head. wonderful job ladies, it is tight as hell but i learned the hard way, don't piss the lady off that is braiding your hair. its worse when they handle permed or relaxed hair, get it done when its time for a touch up. i would never sit down to get my hair done. it hurts, and then to pull it out gosh. it looks good though. I always wanted to know the secret to how Africans makes the braids so supertight that it hurts ths scalp and some people can't even lay their head down.how lonq do it take if its one person doinq it...i do hair to nd it seems like it take me forever because i have nobody else helpin. i use to hate when Two people worked on my hair... yess its less time but half of my head would be looser than the other and then half of the hair would fall out before the other -____-. i was wondering how u start the braid...how u should hold the hair nd wht not...i really need the help...i went to a african shop in my hometown for the first time friday; & i loved it! last time i spent getting mircos was 18 hours! mine only took 7! & they are beautiful :). You do a really good job and its beautiful. I braid too in colorado but not as good as you lol how much do you charge and how long does it take you with two ppl. How do you finish the end of it when you're done with the braid? i can't quite tell exactly what you're doing. Are you tying it into a sort of knot?that's pretty how u guys do it... BUT could u guys like show more view step by step of what u r doing? b/c im kinda lost on the 1st part. thanks. How much do you charge to do microbraids? And how short can your hair be to get microbraids? I recently had to cut my hair because of breakage and hair loss. Some parts of my hair are as short as 1/2 inch. because my hair is so course they don't even bother to knot the end of the hair. ohio... that is very close!!! i want to move to japan, i want to know if they can do micros there...
2 blgbr0wn3y3s My hair is very course and thick and i have had people braid all kinds of pain in my head. i have never had any hair fall out. if you relax your hair first, don't leave it in real long. the longer you leave it in the weaker your hair gets and the more it will fall out. instead. if you must get a relaxer, do the roots and only leave it int for a max of five minutes while working it into the hair after five minutes then quickly rince it out the next day get your mics done.
she doesnt look like she's pulling the hair really really tight which is a plus (thats very professional).
2 blgbr0wn3y3s i've never had a problem with micro's. people tend to think that the micros pull your hair out, but that's not the case. it depends on how you care for your hair esp. if you wear it in ponylails. micros make my hair grow. but they want to put a perm in my hair to soften it... XD because it calluses their finger!!!! true very true. dat shit probably look fir but dat shit hurts just got my did today it took 14 hours from 9am to 10:32pm. I had my hair braided by African laddies who were superb and very quick. I loved it but couldn't keep them in long as I have blonde caucasin hair which couldn't handle the wieght of the braids. Hair braiding is an art and I respect it very much. Thanks for making the video.xxx. Do you train others if so for how much...i have the basic of braiding which is not terrible i actually can braid. I jus want to brush up my existing skills. someone such as yourself i feel will train me well. I would make a special trip to Ohio. Text to let me know when.thanks. And you guys never let the tradition down. It looks perfect.. it also looks like it hurt (lol) God Bless. Yes, that is how I wear my hair...micro's with no hair added. It's cheaper and I've had it for like a month now. Dang, she thought she had hair. She probably didn't have too much left after she took them out. Her hair is cute, but they were too tight! They look nice but too tight. Thats how peoples edges come out. I always ask them not to braid to tight. ok, hmm, have you ever made friendship bracelets? The knot you use here is the basic knot you would use in making a friendship bracelet. If you go to About (the site) they have a tut for them. An illustration is in the second step. I'll message you where. Not that Kerosene heater in the background!...lol That is a fire hazard with flamable hair! Ha ha. The braids are nice and neat though but doing them too tight could cause hair breakage. i luv african shops they can braid soooo gud ive been gettn micros for the past 5 yrs all dun by africans i pay 150 hair included and it last me about 3 months my hair has grown alot luv it! LOL 2 the fact that you're trying to provoke a wild response with the whole "i hate african hair and i'm not black"...like, OK. I love my african tightly curled textured hair and i'm DAMN BLACK! And I don't prefer to have slippery hair that can't hold a curl. Do me a favor, and take your non-black ass,if you happen to be a porcelain shaded Euro, or a tan "Para" latina mixed dog breed, or whatever the hell u are, and step the hell away from this AFRICAN channel! And go comb ur hair thankskbye!I can braid great on my own hair but could you just show me the first step of spreading the hair before detaching I like your method better I hate when people do the fold Thanks! Don't be scared lol...to be honest they do hurt but you I just spray oil sheen on them and it will loosen them up in about a week or so but you will love them and it does take a while to take them down and also taking out the knots that is the real headache but it is worth it...
my best friend is going to micro braid my hair...dear lord ima need some starbucks and asprin!! but my question is is how do they put curls at the ends??
